Dog Licensing Agents
- Licensing agents can only sell annual tags. Lifetime Licenses must be purchased through the County Treasurer’s Office.
- All dogs must be licensed at the time of purchase (legal at eight weeks), or by three months old, whichever comes first.
- Obtaining the licenses is not only the smart thing to do, but it also saves you money.
- A dog owner can be fined up to $500 for each unlicensed dog.

Licenses for persons with disabilities are available to individuals who meet the requirements of the state’s disability affidavit and qualify as a “person with a disability” as defined in Section §102 of the Pennsylvania Dog Law.
