NOTICE: The Office of Elections and Voter Registration has moved to 230 Greenamyer Lane, First Floor, Suite 100 Gettysburg, PA 17325, effective August 7th, 2023

Adams County polling places are open for in person voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on election day.

  • General Election - Tuesday November 5, 2024 

Official Pre-Canvass Meeting Notice

Public notice is hereby given that the Adams County Pre-Canvass Meeting will occur at 7:00 a.m. on April 23rd, 2024, in the Voter Registration Office, 230 Greenamyer Lane, Gettysburg, PA, for the purpose of canvassing the ballots. No members of the general public will be permitted to observe the canvass in person, and only one authorized representative from each candidate in an election and one representative from each political party shall be permitted to remain in the room in which the absentee and mail-in ballots are canvassed. CDC guidelines will be strictly followed, and all representatives may be required to wear a mask and follow County sanitation protocols if appearing in person. Representatives will have the option of viewing the canvass meeting through the free video conferencing platform. You will be able to watch a live feed of the process and interact with County staff through the video conferencing platform.

The County Board of Elections will meet at 9:00 a.m. on April 26, 2024, to compute and canvas the returns of the Municipal Election.
