Google Chrome issue opening PDFs on Adams County Website
If you are experiencing issues reading PDF documents from the Adams County website, please follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Steps to try to troubleshoot the issue:

- The first step you can take is waiting about 30 seconds and the pdf document should load. If that does not work, follow the rest of the steps below.
- In Google Chrome at the top right of the screen, open the ‘Customize and control Google Chrome’ menu
- Click on ‘Extensions’ and ‘Manage Extensions:
- The My Extensions screen will appear which you will want to disable/turn off the Adobe Acrobat extension. You will need to click on the blue toggle button to change to gray which turns it off:
If you continue to experience reading or opening PDFs on the Adams County website, you can also try updating your Google Chrome to a newer version.
